Duties of Commission.
The Commission shall:
Adopt regulations governing systems of hazardous waste management, including the plan for management of hazardous waste in the entire State; and
Through the Department:
Advise, consult and cooperate with other agencies of the State, other states, the Federal Government, municipalities and other persons on matters relating to formulation of plans for managing hazardous waste.
Develop a plan for management of hazardous waste in the entire State.
Develop a program to encourage the minimization of hazardous waste and the recycling or reuse of hazardous waste by persons who generate hazardous waste within Nevada. The program may include grants or other financial incentives.
