439.095
Chief Medical Officer: Qualifications.
The Chief Medical Officer must:
1.
Be a citizen of the United States;
2.
Have not less than 5 years experience in behavioral health or public health in a managerial or supervisory capacity; and
3.
Be:
(a)
Licensed in good standing or eligible for a license as a physician or administrative physician in Nevada;
(b)
Licensed in good standing or eligible for a license as a physician or administrative physician in the District of Columbia or in any state or territory of the United States; or
(c)
A physician or administrative physician who has a masters degree or doctoral degree in public health or a related field.
