Sec. § 684A.040
License required; penalties.


No person may act as, or hold himself or herself out to be, an adjuster or associate adjuster in this State unless then licensed as such under the applicable independent adjusters license, public adjusters license or associate adjusters license, as the case may be, issued under the provisions of this chapter.


Any person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.


A person who acts as an adjuster in this State without a license is subject to an administrative fine of not more than $1,000 for each violation.
