Sec. § 684A.027
“Home state” defined.


Home state means:

1.

The District of Columbia or any state or territory of the United States in which an adjuster maintains his or her principal place of residence or principal place of business and is licensed to act as an adjuster; or

2.

If neither the state in which the adjuster maintains his or her principal place of residence nor the state in which the adjuster maintains his or her principal place of business has a licensing or examination requirement, a state:

(a)

Which has an examination requirement;

(b)

In which the adjuster is licensed; and

(c)

Which the adjuster declares to be the home state.
