Sec. § 293.157
State and county central committees: Terms of office; termination of membership; vacancies.


1.

The state and county central committeemen or committeewomen shall serve for 2 years and until their successors have been elected.

2.

The membership of a member of a county or state central committee may be terminated only for cause by a vote of a majority of the membership present at a regular meeting of the committee.

3.

If such membership is terminated or if any position on the county or state central committee remains unfilled at the county or state convention, the position, if filled, must be filled by a vote of a majority of the membership present at a regular or special meeting of the committee.

4.

If a vacancy occurs among the officers of a county or state central committee, the vacancy must be filled by the membership present by ballot at a regular or special meeting of the committee.
