Sec. § 281.1572
Commission to Review Compensation: Notification of appointment; terms; removal; vacancy.


Members of the Commission must be appointed on or before January 15 of each even-numbered year. The Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau must be notified of the appointment of each member.


The term of each member of the Commission expires at the end of the next regular session of the Legislature following the appointment. Members are eligible for reappointment.


A member of the Commission may be removed by the Governor before the expiration of the member’s term for misconduct in office, incompetence or neglect of duty.


If a vacancy occurs in the membership of the Commission, the Governor shall appoint a person to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.
