Review of complaint by Division; authority of Division to retain Attorney General to investigate complaint with approval of Board.


When a complaint is filed with the Division, it shall review the complaint. If, from the complaint or from other official records, it appears that the complaint is not frivolous, the Division may, with the approval of the Board:

1.

Retain the Attorney General to investigate the complaint; and

2.

If the Division retains the Attorney General, transmit the original complaint, along with further facts or information derived from the review, to the Attorney General.
