Display and promotion of toll-free telephone number for center that receives reports of abuse or neglect of child.


1.

The governing body of each private school shall ensure that at least one poster created pursuant to NRS 432B.200 which prominently displays the toll-free telephone number for the center that receives reports of abuse or neglect of a child in this State is posted:

(a)

Conspicuously in the private school;

(b)

In an area that is frequently and easily accessed by pupils; and

(c)

At eye level, as practicable, according to the average height of the pupils enrolled in the private school.

The governing body of each private school, in addition to the requirements in subsection 1, may promote the toll-free telephone number for the center that receives reports of abuse or neglect of a child in this State through electronic means, including, without limitation, social media. As used in this subsection, “social media” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 232.003.
