Certificate of registration: Issuance and use of seal

Upon issuing a certificate of registration, the Board shall issue to the holder of the certificate of registration a seal of the design authorized by the Board, bearing the name of the holder of the certificate of registration, the number of the certificate of registration and the title “landscape architect.”

A plan, specification, report or other document issued by a holder of a certificate of registration for official use must be signed, sealed and dated on the title page by him or her with a permanently legible imprint of his or her seal and signature. The Board may adopt regulations specifying the manner in which a holder of a certificate of registration may electronically transmit such a plan, specification, report or other document.

It is unlawful for a person to stamp or seal any plan, specification, report or other document with the seal of a holder of a certificate of registration after the certificate of registration has expired or has been suspended or revoked, unless the certificate of registration has been renewed or reissued.
