NRS 683A.083
“Insurer” defined.

“Insurer” includes, without limitation:

1.

An insurance company licensed pursuant to the provisions of this Code;

2.

A prepaid limited health service organization that has been issued a certificate of authority pursuant to chapter 695F of NRS;

3.

A health maintenance organization that has been issued a certificate of authority pursuant to chapter 695C of NRS;

4.

A multiple employer welfare arrangement as defined in 29 U.S.C. § 1002;

5.

An employer for whom a program of self-insurance is administered by an administrator; and

6.

An organization for dental care that has been issued a certificate of authority pursuant to chapter 695D of NRS.
