NRS 62G.050
Appointment and duties of chief probation officer.


1.

The juvenile court shall appoint one probation officer as the chief probation officer.

2.

Under the general supervision of the juvenile court and with the advice of the probation committee, the chief probation officer shall:

(a)

Organize, direct and develop the administrative work, including, but not limited to, the social, financial and clerical work, of the probation department and each local facility for the detention of children; and

(b)

Perform such other duties as the juvenile court directs.
