NRS 394.560
Unlawful acts.


It is unlawful for any person:

1.

To operate or claim to operate a postsecondary educational institution which is required to be licensed by the Commission, unless the institution has a currently valid license to operate.

2.

To act as or perform the services of an agent in this state, unless he or she is a natural person and has a currently valid permit.

3.

To offer, as or through an agent, enrollment or instruction in, or the granting of educational credentials from, a postsecondary educational institution which is required to be licensed by the Commission, whether the institution is within or outside this state, unless the agent is a natural person and has a currently valid permit, except that the Commission may adopt regulations to permit public information to be provided without a permit.

4.

For compensation to instruct or educate, or offer to instruct or educate, including advertising or soliciting for such a purpose, enroll or offer to enroll, contract or offer to contract with any person for such a purpose, or award any educational credential, or contract with any institution or party to perform any such act in this state, whether the person is located within or outside this state, unless that person complies with the minimum standards set forth in this chapter and in regulations adopted by the Commission.

5.

To grant, or offer to grant, educational credentials without a currently valid license.
