NRS 244A.622
Use of money to pay cost of improving, operating, maintaining or improving access to certain airports.


1.

Except as otherwise provided in subsections 2 and 3, in a county whose population is 700,000 or more, the county fair and recreation board, in addition to any other powers, may also use any money that it receives to pay the cost of projects for improving, operating or maintaining an airport, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, projects designed to encourage tourism or to improve access to airports by tourists.

2.

Money may only be used pursuant to this section with respect to an airport that is not less than 90 miles by road from any airport owned by the county with 100 or more scheduled flights per day.

3.

No money may be expended pursuant to this section with respect to a particular airport in excess of $500,000 during any fiscal year.
