Company prohibited from controlling, directing or managing driver or motor vehicle operated by driver.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto or by a written contract between a transportation network company and a driver, a company shall not control, direct or manage a driver or the motor vehicle operated by a driver.
