Requiring purchase of waiver as condition of sale, lease or terms or approval of credit prohibited.

A creditor shall not require the purchase of a guaranteed asset protection waiver as a condition for the approval of credit, the terms of the credit or the terms of the sale or lease of a vehicle covered by the finance agreement.
