NRS 645H.760
Unlawful to engage in certain conduct without certificate of registration or permit

  • penalty.

1.

It is unlawful for any person, limited-liability company, partnership, association or corporation to engage in the business of, act in the capacity of, advertise or assume to act as an asset management company without first obtaining a certificate of registration from the Division pursuant to NRS 645H.480.

2.

It is unlawful for any asset manager to engage in the business of asset management without first obtaining a permit from the Division pursuant to NRS 645H.530.

3.

A person who violates a provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
