Power of Commissioner to administer oaths, certify acts and issue subpoenas

1.

The Commissioner shall have the power to administer oaths, certify to all official acts, and issue subpoenas for attendance of witnesses and the production of books and papers.

2.

In any hearing or investigation in any part of the State, the process issued by the Commissioner shall extend to all parts of the State and may be served by any person authorized to serve process of courts of record. The person serving any such process shall receive such compensation as may be allowed by the Commissioner, not to exceed the fees prescribed by law for similar service, and such fees must be paid in the same manner as provided in NRS 645G.555 for the payment of the fees of witnesses.
