NRS 645B.810
Attorney General may bring civil action

  • recovery of costs in civil action.

1.

The Attorney General may bring any appropriate civil action against a person to enforce any provision of this chapter, a regulation adopted pursuant to this chapter or an order of the Commissioner, including, without limitation, an order of the Commissioner:

(a)

Imposing an administrative fine; or

(b)

Suspending, revoking or placing conditions upon a license.

2.

If the Attorney General prevails in any civil action brought pursuant to this chapter, the court shall order the person against whom the civil action was brought to pay:

(a)

Court costs; and

(b)

Reasonable costs of the investigation and prosecution of the civil action.

3.

Whether or not the Attorney General brings a civil action against a person pursuant to this chapter, the Attorney General may prosecute the person for a criminal violation pursuant to this chapter.
