Investigation of alleged violation

  • report of findings to and recommended action by Attorney General.

1.

A member of the Board’s staff who is designated by the Board may investigate an alleged violation of any provision of this chapter or chapter 451 or 452 of NRS, any regulation adopted pursuant thereto or any order of the Board.

2.

The designated member of the Board’s staff shall report his or her findings to the Attorney General, who shall recommend:

(a)

Dismissing the investigation;

(b)

Proceeding in accordance with the provisions of this chapter or chapter 451 or 452 of NRS, as appropriate, and chapter 233B of NRS; or

(c)

Investigating the matter further before acting pursuant to paragraph (a) or (b).
