NRS 640C.320
Regulations.


The Board shall adopt regulations to carry out the provisions of this chapter. The regulations must include, without limitation, provisions that:

1.

Establish the requirements for continuing education for the renewal of a license;

2.

Establish the requirements for the approval of a course of continuing education, including, without limitation, a course on a specialty technique of massage therapy, reflexology or structural integration;

3.

Establish the requirements for the approval of an instructor of a course of continuing education;

4.

Establish requirements relating to sanitation, hygiene and safety relating to the practice of massage therapy, reflexology or structural integration;

5.

Except as otherwise provided in NRS 622.090, prescribe the requirements for any practical or written examination for a license that the Board may require, including, without limitation, the passing grade for such an examination;

6.

Establish the period within which the Board or its designee must report the results of the investigation of an applicant;

7.

Prescribe the form of a written administrative citation issued pursuant to NRS 640C.755;

8.

Establish the standards for the licensure of massage therapists, reflexologists and structural integration practitioners under this chapter; and

9.

Prescribe the standards and curriculum for schools of massage therapy, reflexology and structural integration in this State.
