Educational requirements to conduct evaluation of athletic injury or perform joint mobilization or to perform passive range of motion or passive joint range of motion.


1.

A person who is licensed as an athletic trainer shall not conduct an evaluation of an athletic injury or perform joint mobilization unless the person has earned at least a master’s degree in athletic training or a comparable area of study, as determined by the Board.

2.

A person who is licensed as an athletic trainer and has not earned a master’s degree in athletic training or a comparable area of study, as determined by the Board, may perform passive range of motion or passive joint range of motion.
