NRS 630A.220
Unlawful acts concerning practice of homeopathic medicine without license

  • limitation on use of designation of degree.

1.

It is unlawful for any person:

(a)

To practice homeopathic medicine;

(b)

To hold himself or herself out as qualified to practice homeopathic medicine; or

(c)

To use in connection with his or her name the words or letters “H.M.D.” or any other title, word, letter or other designation intended to imply or designate the person as a practitioner of homeopathic medicine,
Ê in this State without first obtaining a license so to do as provided in this chapter.

2.

A physician licensed pursuant to this chapter who holds a degree such as doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy may identify himself or herself by that degree or its appropriate abbreviation, but unless the physician is also licensed pursuant to chapter 630 or 633 of NRS must further identify himself or herself by the words “practitioner of homeopathic medicine” or their equivalent.
