NRS 612.3774
Conditions of eligibility: Findings by Administrator.


A person is eligible to receive extended benefits for any week of unemployment in the person’s eligibility period only if the Administrator finds that with respect to that week:

1.

The person is an “exhaustee”;

2.

The person has satisfied the requirements of this chapter for the receipt of regular benefits that are applicable to persons claiming extended benefits, except that, for the purposes of paragraph (d) of subsection 1 of NRS 612.375, a person is eligible to receive extended benefits with respect to any week only if the Administrator finds that the person has within his or her base period:

(a)

Been paid wages from employers equal to or exceeding 1 1/2 times the person’s total wages for employment by employers during the quarter of his or her base period in which his or her total wages were highest;

(b)

Been paid wages from employers equal to or exceeding 40 times the person’s most recent weekly benefit amount; or

(c)

Twenty weeks of full-time employment subject to this chapter; and

3.

The person was not disqualified for benefits during the period for which he or she claimed regular benefits because he or she voluntarily left work, was discharged for misconduct or failed to apply for or accept suitable work, or if the person was so disqualified, he or she thereafter regained his or her qualification pursuant to subsection 1 of NRS 612.380 or NRS 612.385 or 612.390. The provisions of this subsection do not apply for weeks of unemployment where prohibited by federal law.
