Person may file complaint alleging violation

1.

A consumer, an attorney for a consumer or any other person who believes that any provision of this chapter has been violated may file a complaint with the Commissioner. Such a complaint must include:

(a)

The full name and address of the person filing the complaint;

(b)

A clear and concise statement of facts sufficient to establish that the alleged violation occurred, including, without limitation, the date, time and place of the alleged violation and the name of each person involved in the alleged violation; and

(c)

A certification by the person filing the complaint that the facts alleged in the complaint are true to the best knowledge and belief of the person.

2.

Upon the receipt of a complaint filed pursuant to subsection 1, the Commissioner may investigate and conduct hearings concerning the complaint.
