NRS 522.120
Penalties.
1.
Any person who willfully violates any provision of this chapter, or any regulation or order of the Division is subject to a penalty of not more than $1,000 for each act of violation and for each day that the violation continues, unless the penalty for the violation is otherwise provided for and made exclusive in this chapter.2.
If any person, for the purpose of evading this chapter, or any regulation or order of the Division, makes or causes to be made any false entry in any record, account or memorandum required by this chapter, or by any such regulation or order, or omits or causes to be omitted, from any such record, account or memorandum, full, true and correct entries as required by this chapter, or by any such regulation or order, or removes from this state or destroys, mutilates, alters or falsifies any such record, account or memorandum, that person is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.3.
Any person knowingly aiding or abetting any other person in the violation of any provision of this chapter, or any regulation or order of the Division is subject to the same penalty as that prescribed by this chapter for the violation by the other person.4.
The penalties provided in this section are recoverable by suit filed by the Attorney General in the name and on behalf of the Division in the district court of the county in which the defendant resides or in which any defendant resides, if there is more than one defendant, or in the district court of any county in which the violation occurred. The payment of any such penalty does not operate to relieve a person on whom the penalty is imposed from liability to any other person for damages arising out of the violation.
