NRS 490.500
Penalty for knowingly providing certain false information relating to title or security interest or for not submitting report of sale or lease within time prescribed.


Any person is guilty of a gross misdemeanor who knowingly:

1.

Makes or causes to be made any false entry on any certificate of origin or certificate of title for an off-highway vehicle;

2.

Furnishes or causes to be furnished false information to the Department concerning any security interest; or

3.

Fails to submit or causes to not be submitted the original of the off-highway vehicle dealer’s or long-term lessor’s report of sale or lease, together with the certificate of title or certificate of ownership issued for a new or used off-highway vehicle to the Department within the time prescribed by regulation adopted by the Department.
