NRS 487.689
Director authorized to request undercover investigation of alleged deceptive trade practice

Bureau of Consumer Protection authorized to conduct such investigation.

1.

The Director may request an undercover investigation of a person who is allegedly engaging in a deceptive trade practice or violating the provisions of NRS 487.6871 to 487.6897, inclusive.

2.

The Bureau of Consumer Protection in the Office of the Attorney General may conduct an undercover investigation of a person who is allegedly engaging in a deceptive trade practice or violating the provisions of NRS 487.6871 to 487.6897, inclusive, on its own motion or upon a request received pursuant to subsection 1. Nothing in this subsection requires the Bureau to conduct an undercover investigation.
