Commission may assume jurisdiction over specific classes of air contaminants.

If the Commission finds that the control of a particular class of sources of air contaminant because of its complexity or magnitude is beyond the reasonable capability of one or more local air pollution control authorities, it may assume and retain jurisdiction over that class in the county or counties so affected.

2.

Sources may be classified for the purpose of this section on the basis of their nature or their size relative to the county in which they are located.
