Suspension of components of program or duties of Department if sufficient money not available

  • acceptance of gifts and grants.

1.

On or before July 1 of each odd-numbered year, the Department shall make a determination of whether sufficient money is available and authorized for expenditure to fund one or more components of the programs and other duties of the Department relating to NRS 439B.600 to 439B.695, inclusive.

2.

The Department shall temporarily suspend any components of the program or duties of the Department for which it determines pursuant to subsection 1 that sufficient money is not available.

3.

The Department may apply for and accept any available grants and may accept any bequests, devises, donations or gifts from any public or private source to carry out the provisions of NRS 439B.600 to 439B.695, inclusive.
