NRS 388.550
Employment of teachers with approval of juvenile court and county commissioners.


1.

With the approval of the juvenile court and the board of county commissioners, the board of trustees of a school district may employ necessary legally qualified teachers for the instruction of children detained in:

(a)

A facility for the detention of children or an alternative program maintained by the county pursuant to the provisions of title 5 of NRS.

(b)

A juvenile forestry camp established by the county pursuant to the provisions of NRS 244.297.

(c)

A juvenile training school established by the State pursuant to the provisions of title 5 of NRS.

2.

As used in this section, “juvenile court” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 62A.180.
