State Engineer may advise Board

State Engineer and Director may assist in preparation of preliminary plan.

1.

The State Engineer shall advise the Board, upon its request, of the existence and status of any water rights which affect a water project under consideration by the Board.

2.

Upon the Board’s request and within the limits of available resources and staff, the State Engineer and the Director may on a case by case basis assist persons in the preparation of a preliminary plan for a water project.
