NRS 278A.230
Adoption by ordinance.

1.

An ordinance enacted pursuant to this chapter may contain the minimum design standards set forth in NRS 278A.240 to 278A.360, inclusive.

2.

Where reference is made in any of these standards to a department which does not exist in the city or county concerned, the ordinance may provide for the discharge of the duty or exercise of the power by another agency of the city or county or by the governing body.
