Meetings, rules and records.


1.

Meetings of the board must be held at the call of the chair and at such other times as the board may determine. The chair, or in his or her absence the acting chair, may administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses. All meetings of the board must be open to the public.

The board shall adopt rules in accordance with the provisions of any ordinance adopted pursuant to NRS 278.010 to 278.630, inclusive.

The board shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote of each member upon each question, or, if absent or failing to vote, indicating such fact, and audio recordings or transcripts of its proceedings, and shall keep records of its examinations and other official actions, all of which must be filed immediately in the office of the board and, except as otherwise provided in NRS 241.035, are public records. A copy of the minutes or audio recordings must be made available to a member of the public upon request at no charge pursuant to NRS 241.035.
