Boundaries of district.

1.

Subject to the limitations contained in subsection 2, a board of county commissioners which establishes a district for a county fire department shall establish the boundaries of the district which must include only the area which the department is to serve, and may alter those boundaries by ordinance.

2.

The district must not include any territory within the boundaries of an incorporated city.
