Nevada Tribes Legislative Day: Duties of Commission.


In observance of “Nevada Tribes Legislative Day” established pursuant to NRS 236.038, the Nevada Indian Commission shall:

1.

Invite the Legislature, the Governor and other elected officials to recognize and pay tribute to the history and culture of American Indians and their contributions to the prosperity and cultural diversity of Nevada and the United States.

2.

Schedule activities and discussions between state and tribal leaders on issues of common interest.
