NRS 143.420
Power to borrow and to encumber property of estate.


1. Subject to the limitations provided in subsection 2 and NRS 143.180, the personal representative who has limited authority or full authority has the following powers:

(a)

The power to borrow; and

(b)

The power to place, replace, renew or extend any encumbrance upon any property of the estate.

2.

Only a personal representative who has full authority has the power to borrow money with the loan secured by an encumbrance upon real property.
