Complaints: Filing

1.

If any member of the Board or the Executive Director becomes aware of any ground for initiating disciplinary action against a holder of a license, the member or Executive Director shall file a written complaint with the Board.

2.

The complaint must specifically:

(a)

Set forth the relevant facts; and

(b)

Charge one or more grounds for initiating disciplinary action.

3.

As soon as practicable after the filing of the complaint, an investigation of the complaint must be conducted to determine whether the allegations in the complaint merit the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against the holder of the license.

4.

The Board shall retain all complaints filed with the Board pursuant to this section for at least 10 years, including, without limitation, any complaints not acted upon.
