Board authorized to establish Dietitian Advisory Group.

1.

The Board may establish a Dietitian Advisory Group consisting of persons familiar with the practice of dietetics to provide the Board with expertise and assistance in carrying out its duties pursuant to this chapter. If a Dietitian Advisory Group is established, the Board shall:

(a)

Determine the number of members;

(b)

Appoint the members;

(c)

Establish the terms of the members; and

(d)

Determine the duties of the Dietitian Advisory Group.

2.

Members of a Dietitian Advisory Group established pursuant to subsection 1 serve without compensation.
