Meeting of commissioners.

The court shall appoint the time and place for the first meeting of the commissioners, and the time for filing of their report, and may give such further time as may be necessary for that purpose, if they shall not then have completed their duties.

The commissioners, or a majority of them, shall meet at the time and place as ordered, and, before entering on their duties, shall be duly sworn to perform the duties imposed upon them honestly, faithfully and impartially. Any one of them may issue subpoenas for witnesses for either of the parties, and may administer oaths. The commissioners may adjourn from place to place and from time to time, as may be necessary for the proper discharge of their duties.
