NRS 239.260
Service of citation on parties residing outside of county or State.

1.

When parties upon whom citation is required to be served reside outside of the county, but within the State, service shall be made in the same manner as is prescribed by the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure for the service of summons in civil actions in this State, and upon a citation issued from a justice court under this chapter, the service of the same upon parties residing out of the county, but within the State, shall be in the same manner as that required for the service of summons in civil actions in the district courts.

2.

Where the parties upon whom service is required to be made reside out of this State, service shall be made by publication, in the same manner as is required for service of summons in civil cases in the courts of this State.
