Registration of managers

1.

A person who wishes to engage in the business of, act in the capacity of, advertise or assume to act as a manager of a project located in this State shall register with the Division on a form prescribed by the Division.

2.

The form for registration must include, without limitation:

(a)

The registered name of each time-share plan or project, or both, that the manager will manage;

(b)

The address and telephone number of the manager’s principal place of business;

(c)

The social security number of the manager; and

(d)

The name of the manager’s responsible managing employee.

3.

The form for registration must be accompanied by:

(a)

Satisfactory evidence, acceptable to the Division, that the manager and his or her employees have obtained fidelity bonds in accordance with regulations adopted by the Division; and

(b)

The statement required pursuant to NRS 119A.263.

4.

The Division shall collect the fee specified in NRS 119A.360 upon registering the manager and annually thereafter to maintain the registration.

5.

As used in this section, “responsible managing employee” means the person designated by the manager to:

(a)

Make technical and administrative decisions in connection with the manager’s business; and

(b)

Hire, superintend, promote, transfer, lay off, discipline or discharge other employees or recommend such action on behalf of the manager.
